Net profit grew more slowly than income. Total income rose 10.5% year on year to ₹2,019.07 crore, while net profit rose 9.2% to ₹453.45 crore. Profit before tax grew 11.8%, so the tax expense, up 20.2% to ₹157.02 crore, took a larger share of the increase.

Revenue from operations rose 11.0% to ₹1,951.01 crore, and other income fell 2.7% to ₹68.06 crore. Other income is 3.4% of total income and 11.1% of profit before tax. Finance costs were ₹5.95 crore, or 0.3% of total income, down from ₹7.55 crore a year earlier.

The tax expense is 25.7% of profit before tax this quarter. The statement shows a tax adjustment for earlier years of ₹(6.04) crore and a deferred tax credit of ₹(1.00) crore in the quarter ended 30 Sep 2025, the year-earlier comparison period.

The auditor, Walker Chandiok & Co LLP, conducted a limited review and the review report contains no qualifications. The company has one segment, Pharmaceuticals, and results are prepared under Ind AS 34.
