Consolidated net loss widened in the quarter even though total income rose 2.6% year on year. Net profit fell 27.6% YoY, a larger loss against ₹2,089.78 crore of total income, and the loss attributable to owners of ₹342.84 crore is shown alongside non-controlling interest of ₹33.57 crore.

Other income grew faster than revenue from operations: other income rose 9.6% YoY against 2.4% for revenue from operations. Other income of ₹59.75 crore is 2.9% of total income this quarter, and finance costs of ₹151.70 crore are 7.3% of total income, up from ₹124.21 crore a year earlier.

Tax was a credit of ₹78.08 crore, against ₹37.97 crore a year earlier, so the tax line moved the net loss less than the pre-tax loss of ₹454.49 crore. The filing gives no reason for the higher deferred tax credit.

    Inference

The filing reports that the Scheme of Amalgamation of Jaypore E-Commerce Private Limited and TG Apparel & Decor Private Limited with the company was approved by the NCLT Mumbai Bench on 2 Jul 2026, with an appointed date of 1 Apr 2026 and an effective date of 1 Aug 2026. Comparative figures have been restated under the pooling of interests method.

The company paid ₹175 crore as subscription money for a rights issue by Indivinity Clothing Retail Private Limited, after which its stake rose from 85.54% to 89.29%. The filing does not say what the rights issue money will be used for.

The filing does not give the reason for the net loss in the quarter or any outlook for coming quarters, and a reader would want both.
