Amagi Media Labs (NSE: AMAGI) has appointed Srividhya Srinivasan, one of its promoters and its Chief Technology Officer, as Whole-time Director for five years until 4 Nov 2031, subject to shareholder approval, it said in a filing on 5 Nov 2026.

    The appointment in detail

The board approved the appointment on 5 Nov 2026, with effect from the same date. She will be designated Whole-time Director & Chief Technology Officer, and the term runs for five years until 4 Nov 2031.

On appointment she moves from Senior Management Personnel to Whole-time Director and Key Managerial Personnel. The appointment still needs the approval of shareholders, and the Notice of the Postal Ballot is to be published and communicated in due course.

She holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, and has over 24 years of experience in the technology and broadcasting sector. Before joining the company she was a technical marketing officer at ImpulseSoft Private Limited and was associated with Texas Instruments (India) Limited.

The company discloses that she is the spouse of Mr. Baskar Subramanian, its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. She is not debarred from the capital markets or from holding a directorship in a listed company, the company says.

    How it fits the company

The same board meeting also approved the appointment of Dr. Bhaskar Ghosh as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director for three years, also subject to shareholder approval. Both appointments were disclosed in the same filing.

The company's latest reported quarter, for the period ended 30 Sep 2026, was reported in a separate filing on the same day.

What the appointment means for Amagi Media Labs' shareholders

The appointment moves a promoter and the company's technology head into a full-time board role for five years, and the change is subject to a shareholder vote that has not yet been held. The filing does not state her remuneration, whether anyone will take over her Chief Technology Officer role, or when the postal ballot will close.

The next dated step is the publication of the postal ballot notice, which has no date yet.
