Standalone net profit fell 2.7% YoY to ₹77.56 crore while total income rose 2.5% to ₹109.00 crore. Profit before tax rose 5.1% to ₹98.74 crore, so the fall in net profit sits in the tax line, which rose 89.8% to ₹21.18 crore from ₹11.16 crore. Tax is 21.4% of profit before tax this quarter.
Revenue from operations rose 2.2% to ₹108.00 crore, while other income rose 46.4% to ₹0.99 crore. Other income is 0.9% of total income. Finance costs fell 36.1% to ₹1.74 crore, and depreciation rose 170.9% to ₹0.41 crore.
Standalone net profit rose 489.7% from the June quarter, when total income was ₹21.81 crore and other income was ₹9.64 crore. Against that quarter, the standalone other income is much lower this quarter, at ₹0.99 crore, so the two quarters are not a like-for-like base. The standalone EPS of ₹3.78 compares with ₹10.51 a year earlier and a loss per share of ₹1.78 in the June quarter.
Consolidated net profit of ₹100.97 crore is ₹23.41 crore above standalone net profit of ₹77.56 crore. Consolidated total income of ₹214.13 crore is ₹105.13 crore above standalone total income of ₹109.00 crore, and the consolidated revenue from operations of ₹230.08 crore is larger than the standalone figure of ₹108.00 crore.
Over the year the company's standalone figures moved in the opposite direction to the consolidated ones: consolidated net profit rose 36.5% while standalone net profit fell 2.7%. The filing does not give the reason for the difference between the two.
Inference
The filing records the acquisition of 10,50,000 equity shares of Ashika Capital Ltd on 10 Jun 2026 at ₹374.52 a share, which made it a wholly owned subsidiary, and the disposal of Ashika Logistics Private Limited on 11 May 2026 for ₹1.84 crore.
The filing records a share capital of ₹73.93 crore standalone and ₹73.93 crore consolidated at a face value of ₹10, and it records that 2,00,000 warrants were converted into shares. Warrants forfeited for non-receipt of the balance payment carried ₹24.36 crore of upfront money.
The filing does not state the reason for the swing in standalone tax expense, the reason for the fair value movements on investments, or how the two wholly owned subsidiaries incorporated on 17 Sep 2026 will be funded; the auditors note they had not commenced business by 30 Sep 2026.
