Ashok Leyland sales rise 32% in October for domestic trucks and buses

Ashok Leyland (NSE: ASHOKLEY) reported domestic sales of 20,224 vehicles in October 2026, up 24% from 16,314 a year earlier, it said in a filing on 02 Nov 2026. Domestic plus export sales were 21,888 units, up 23%. Sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles rose 32% domestically.

Domestic M&HCV truck sales rose 39% to 11,102 units, while M&HCV bus sales fell 6% to 1,544 units. Light commercial vehicle sales rose 13% to 7,578 units. Including exports, truck sales rose 41% to 11,613 units and bus sales fell 11% to 2,314 units.

Cumulative domestic sales for April to October 2026 were 1,26,101 units, up 24% from 1,01,873 units. Cumulative domestic plus export sales were 1,35,328 units, up 22%.
