Net profit grew more slowly than income. Profit before tax rose 26.7%, so the tax rate of 22.7% of profit before tax is close to a year earlier.

Other income is a small part of the quarter, at ₹6.07 crore or 0.4% of total income, so growth is mainly from revenue from operations, which rose 47.6% YoY. Quarter on quarter, net profit rose 19.3%, faster than income at 14.7%.

The consolidated figures include one subsidiary whose interim results the auditors did not review. Its total revenues were ₹601.93 crore for the quarter and its net profit after tax ₹39.93 crore. The consolidated net profit of ₹101.56 crore is ₹38.49 crore higher than the standalone figure of ₹63.07 crore.

The filing reports no exceptional items in the quarter or the six months. The results carry an unmodified limited review conclusion from Walker Chandiok & Co LLP. A joint venture's unreviewed results show a group share of net loss after tax of ₹0.36 crore for the quarter.

Standalone profit grew more slowly than income. Total income rose 30.7% YoY, while net profit rose 18.3% and profit before tax 17.6%. Revenue from operations rose 31.1%, and other income, at ₹12.80 crore, was 1.2% of total income and 15.1% of profit before tax.

Quarter on quarter, standalone net profit rose 2.6% against total income growth of 9.8%. Finance costs of ₹4.95 crore were down 13.9% from the prior quarter but up 35.2% from a year earlier.

The standalone results carry the same unmodified review conclusion and no exceptional items. Standalone EPS was ₹3.20 against ₹2.70 a year earlier.

Consolidated profit after tax was ₹101.56 crore against ₹79.80 crore a year earlier. The filing does not explain the reason for the rise. The cash flow statements show dividends paid of ₹36.47 crore in the six months, against ₹29.57 crore a year earlier.

    Inference

The filing gives the quarter's results, the auditors' review conclusions and a dividend paid of ₹36.47 crore in the six months to 30 Sep 2026. It does not say whether that dividend relates to a specific financial year or whether a further dividend is planned.

The filing does not explain the reason for the share of joint venture losses in the quarter, or the reason for the rise in consolidated profit.
