Consolidated total income rose 21.4% YoY, with revenue from operations up 22.4% to ₹299.39 crore, while other income fell 15.1% to ₹5.66 crore. Net profit grew only 0.5%, so profit grew more slowly than income. Profit before tax fell 0.6%, and the tax expense dropped 3.8% to ₹18.69 crore.
Other income is a small part of the total: ₹5.66 crore is 1.9% of total income and 7.6% of profit before tax this quarter. In the June quarter other income was ₹22.22 crore, so the sequential fall of 74.5% in that line is large against a small base for the current quarter.
Finance costs rose to ₹1.94 crore from ₹0.07 crore a year earlier, which is 0.6% of total income. The filing does not give the reason for the rise. Depreciation increased 13.5% YoY to ₹21.38 crore.
The filing says Clean Fino-Chem Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary, entered an agreement on 16 Jul 2026 with Geneus Chem AG, Switzerland, for exclusive manufacturing and supply of advanced grades of HALS products. In lieu of collaboration, Geneus Chem AG agreed to issue warrants exercisable within four years, under which the subsidiary would acquire 25% of Geneus Chem AG's share capital on a fully diluted basis. The company says the subsidiary has completed product trials for these grades after the half year ended 30 Sep 2026.

The filing reports a GST matter. During the quarter the Maharashtra GST Department conducted search and inspection proceedings under Section 67 of the Maharashtra GST Act, 2017, concluded on 29 Sep 2026. The Department has indicated a GST liability under reverse charge of ₹73.70 million standalone and ₹99.85 million consolidated, with interest and non-creditable tax liabilities. The company says discussions with GST authorities are ongoing, the amounts are not yet finally concluded, and it has deposited amounts corresponding to the RCM liability and interest in its GST electronic cash ledger.
Inference
The filing says the company's ESOP 2021 scheme led to the allotment of 6,822 equity shares of ₹1 each during the half year ended 30 Sep 2026. The board approved the results on 31 Oct 2026, and the statutory auditors issued a limited review report with an unmodified conclusion on both sets of results.
The filing does not state the final GST amount or how the GST matter will be concluded, and it does not give the expected financial impact of the Geneus Chem AG arrangement on future results. The reason for the rise in consolidated finance costs is also not stated.
