Inference
The board re-appointed Sudarshan Venu as an Independent Director for a second term of five years from 3 Feb 2027 to 2 Feb 2032, subject to approval by shareholders through a postal ballot as a special resolution. The board fixed 6 Nov 2026 as the cut-off date for the postal ballot notice and e-voting rights.
The company allotted 1,11,355 equity shares at USD 87.11 each on conversion of a USD 9.70 million loan to Baobab Mining and Chemicals Corporation, a step-down subsidiary held through Coromandel Chemicals Limited, which holds 71.51% of it. The company also allotted 14,460 equity shares on exercise of stock options in the quarter.
The filing does not say why the Independent Director is being re-appointed beyond the board's recommendation, nor what effect the loan conversion has on the consolidated results.
