CRISIL said in a filing on 23 Oct 2026 that consolidated total income for the quarter ended 30 Sep 2026 was ₹1,120.91 crore, and that standalone net profit was ₹151.94 crore. Consolidated profit before tax was ₹276.06 crore.

Consolidated total income rose 18.2% to ₹1,120.91 crore. Revenue from operations rose 20.2% to ₹1,095.16 crore, while other income fell 30.4% to ₹25.75 crore from ₹36.98 crore a year earlier.

Profit before tax rose 5.3% to ₹276.06 crore from ₹262.27 crore. Tax expense was ₹71.51 crore, 25.9% of profit before tax, against ₹69.17 crore a year earlier, which was 26.4% of profit before tax. Depreciation rose 38.2% to ₹44.18 crore, and finance costs rose 17.4% to ₹7.02 crore.

Basic EPS was ₹27.97 against ₹26.41, up 5.9%.

In the quarter, Ratings services revenue was ₹345.63 crore and Research, Analytics & Solutions revenue was ₹749.89 crore. Consolidated total operating profit was ₹284.51 crore.

Standalone revenue from operations rose 18.4% to ₹536.75 crore, and other income rose 6.5% to ₹129.78 crore. Other income is 74.1% of standalone profit before tax of ₹175.11 crore.

The filing says dividend income from subsidiaries is included in standalone other income. It was ₹85.00 crore for the quarter, against ₹66.69 crore a year earlier.

Standalone net profit rose 10.6% to ₹151.94 crore, and profit before tax rose 8.3% to ₹175.11 crore. Tax expense fell 4.4% to ₹23.17 crore, 13.2% of profit before tax.

Standalone finance costs rose 34.7% to ₹6.91 crore, and depreciation rose 11.1% to ₹21.98 crore.

Inference

The board approved a third interim dividend of ₹17 per equity share of face value ₹1 for the financial year ending 31 Dec 2026, payable on or before 17 Nov 2026.

The auditors' review reports carry no modification. For the consolidated results, two subsidiaries' interim figures, with total revenues of ₹316.11 crore for the quarter, were reviewed by other auditors, and the auditors' conclusion is not modified for that matter.

The filing does not give the record date for the interim dividend or the reason for the fall in consolidated other income.
