Profit fell much faster than income. Consolidated total income rose 17.1% from a year earlier, but profit before tax fell 37.7% to ₹50.95 crore, and net profit fell 37.0%. The consolidated figures carry an exceptional expense of ₹10.39 crore net of a ₹1.74 crore insurance recovery on vehicles; the gross flood loss is ₹12.12 crore.

Revenue from operations rose 17.6% while other income fell 26.1% to ₹4.75 crore, which is 0.7% of total income. Finance costs of ₹2.04 crore are 0.3% of total income, so borrowing costs are small against revenue.
