Embassy Developments Limited has told the exchanges that its board, at a meeting on 9 Oct 2026 that ran from 3:15 PM to 4:10 PM, noted the resignation of Mr. Sachin Shah as CEO and Executive Director at the close of business on 31 Dec 2026. From 1 Jan 2027 he will stay with the Embassy Group as Senior Advisor to the Chairman and the Managing Director & CEO.

On the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the board approved the re-designation of Mr. Aditya Virwani as Managing Director & CEO, for the rest of his term to 24 Feb 2030 on the existing terms. The board said FY 2025-26 was a year of strong execution and record performance, and that the company entered FY 2026-27 with a pipeline of 11 projects across Bengaluru, Mumbai and an initial pilot in the National Capital Region.

    Inference

The change merges the CEO role into the managing director’s role, and the departing CEO stays on as an adviser, which suggests a planned handover. The board gives continuity of leadership as its reason.
