Standalone profit fell while income rose. Total income rose 8.1% YoY to ₹463 crore, but net profit fell 62.3% to ₹36 crore. The year-ago quarter carried other income of ₹79 crore, while the current quarter's other income was ₹8 crore, or 1.7% of total income.

Revenue from operations rose 30.5% to ₹456 crore. Profit before tax fell 55.8% to ₹48 crore, and tax expense fell 11.0% to ₹12 crore. Finance costs rose 59.2% to ₹11 crore, or 2.4% of total income.

Standalone other income includes dividend income from wholly owned subsidiaries of ₹730 million in the quarter, as the filing states. The filing does not give the reason for the fall in standalone other income from ₹794 million a year earlier.

    Inference

The filing says the Board approved the results on 4 Nov 2026, and that the statutory auditors, Walker Chandiok & Co LLP, issued limited review reports dated 4 Nov 2026 with unmodified conclusions.

The filing says the Scheme of Amalgamation of Indovida India Private Limited was approved by the Board on 29 Mar 2026, and an application was filed with the NCLT Mumbai Bench on 23 Oct 2026. The merger is subject to shareholder approval, NCLT approval and other conditions. The filing does not say whether or when the merger will complete, or what effect it will have on future results and share count.

The company says it allotted 5,23,514 equity shares to option grantees under its Employee Stock Option Scheme 2020 in the quarter, and made an additional investment of ₹142 million in its wholly owned subsidiary EPL Packaging (Thailand) Co. Ltd.
