Revenue from operations fell 2.9% YoY to ₹1,306.82 crore, a steeper fall in other income of 11.9% did not drive the decline. Other income of ₹2.07 crore is 0.2% of total income, so the quarter's total income rests almost entirely on operating revenue.

Profit before tax of ₹46.76 crore, less tax of ₹17.29 crore, gives ₹29.47 crore, while the reported net profit is ₹27.54 crore. The gap of ₹1.93 crore is not explained in the text read. Tax of ₹17.29 crore is 37.0% of profit before tax.

The filing says a fire on 06 May 2026 at the Bawal plant caused a net carrying value loss of ₹143.58 crore, shown as an exceptional item. Management expects to recover the loss in due course, but recovery has not been ascertained or recognised while the insurance assessment is in progress.

The consolidated results are prepared for the first time. They include Zayo Cables Private Limited and Zayo Energy Private Limited as associates from 25 Apr 2026, each held at 31%. The comparative figures are standalone figures of the holding company, so the year-ago comparison is not like for like.
