Income held close to last year's level while profit fell faster. Total income of ₹171.35 crore was 0.9% lower than in Q2 FY26, but net profit of ₹15.44 crore was 30.4% lower and profit before tax fell 32.0%. Other income dropped to ₹5.52 crore from ₹11.26 crore, while revenue from operations rose 2.6% to ₹165.83 crore.
Depreciation is the line that moved most against the base. It rose 38.3% to ₹12.32 crore, and finance costs of ₹2.92 crore were 1.7% of total income. The tax charge fell 36.2% to ₹5.18 crore, a 25.1% share of profit before tax against 26.8% a year earlier, so lower tax did not offset the fall in profit.
The consolidated figures do not reconcile on profit. The filing's profit for the period is ₹16.28 crore before the split with non-controlling interest, and profit attributable to owners is ₹16.54 crore, while the net profit row shows ₹15.44 crore. The basic EPS of ₹0.59 cannot be checked against these figures from the text read.

Standalone profit fell far more than income. Total income dropped 12.1% to ₹122.53 crore and net profit fell 72.4% to ₹6.08 crore. Revenue from operations rose 2.9% to ₹70.32 crore, but other income of ₹52.21 crore, down 26.4%, is 42.6% of total income and fell from ₹70.98 crore a year earlier.
Profit before tax of ₹7.87 crore was 72.9% lower than ₹29.05 crore a year earlier. Depreciation rose 26.6% to ₹9.52 crore and finance costs rose 28.9% to ₹1.65 crore. Standalone other income is 663.5% of profit before tax, so the profit rests largely on income outside revenue from operations.
