Godrej Industries Limited has told the exchanges on 9 Oct 2026 that CRISIL Ratings Limited has assigned a “CRISIL AA+ (Stable)” rating to its proposed additional issue of non-convertible debentures of up to ₹1,500 crore. CRISIL also reaffirmed the existing rating on already issued and listed non-convertible debentures of ₹7,200 crore.

For the commercial paper programme of up to ₹3,500 crore, CRISIL reaffirmed its “Crisil A1+” rating. The filing quotes CRISIL’s definitions, under which AA+ instruments carry a high degree of safety and very low credit risk, and A1+ instruments carry a very strong degree of safety and the lowest credit risk.

    Inference

The rating on the proposed debentures matches that on the existing ones, so CRISIL treats the new borrowing at the same credit level. The rating alone does not show whether the company will issue the full ₹1,500 crore.
