Net profit grew at about the same pace as total income. Net profit rose 18.1% to ₹45.02 crore and total income rose 18.0%, while profit before tax rose 21.8% to ₹59.85 crore. The consolidated figures for the quarter include the Aurangabad facility acquired from 1 Apr 2026, and the company says they are not comparable with previous corresponding periods.

Finance costs of ₹26.37 crore are 2.1% of total income this quarter, up from the year-earlier quarter's ₹20.10 crore. Depreciation rose 23.5% to ₹27.77 crore. The filing gives these figures but does not give a reason for the increase in either line.

Other income fell 16.8% to ₹3.41 crore and is 5.7% of profit before tax. Tax expense rose 34.3% to ₹14.83 crore and is 24.8% of profit before tax, compared with 22.5% a year earlier.

The consolidated exceptional item of ₹1.32 crore is a net charge from flood damage at the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu facility on 23 Jul 2026. The company wrote off ₹24.64 crore of property, plant, equipment and inventories and recognised an insurance claim receivable of ₹23.32 crore. The survey is ongoing, and the final insurance settlement is not yet known.

Standalone net profit rose 4.5% to ₹33.71 crore, slower than total income, which rose 19.9%. Against the previous quarter, net profit fell 17.4% from ₹40.81 crore while total income rose 5.6%.

Standalone finance costs rose 21.9% to ₹14.71 crore and are 1.5% of total income. Other income of ₹7.01 crore is 15.5% of profit before tax of ₹45.24 crore. Tax expense of ₹11.53 crore is 25.5% of profit before tax.

The standalone exceptional item is ₹0.18 crore, a net charge from the same flood. Consolidated net profit of ₹45.02 crore is ₹11.31 crore higher than standalone net profit of ₹33.71 crore; the filing does not split that gap between the subsidiaries and the associate.

    Inference

The board approved on 5 Nov 2026 an extension of the timeline for utilising the proceeds of the preferential issue of convertible warrants, from 31 Dec 2026 to 30 Jun 2027. The company cites unforeseen circumstances; the filing does not give the reason in more detail, or say how much of the proceeds remains unutilised.

The statutory auditors, MSKA and Associates LLP, gave an unmodified conclusion on both sets of results. For the consolidated results they did not review two subsidiaries with total assets of ₹220.51 crore before consolidation adjustments; management says these are not material to the Group.

The filing does not say what the final insurance settlement for the flood damage will be, or what the full financial impact on future quarters will be.
