Ion Exchange (India) (NSE: IONEXCHANG) said in a filing on 03 Nov 2026 that its board has approved changing the designation of Rajesh Sharma from Executive Chairman to Non-Executive Non-Independent Chairman, effective 1 Jan 2027. The company says Sharma had expressed a desire to transition to a non-executive role.
The change in designation

Sharma joined Ion Exchange in January 1974 as a Service Engineer. He served as Managing Director from 2000 to 2024 before becoming Executive Chairman.
