Net profit held up far better than income. Revenue from operations fell 40.9%, from ₹312.81 crore to ₹184.95 crore, and other income rose from ₹4.20 crore to ₹7.13 crore.

Other income made up 21.2% of profit before tax of ₹33.64 crore, against about 11% of a year-earlier pre-tax profit of ₹36.82 crore. The filing does not explain the fall in revenue from operations.

Against the previous quarter, the picture is one of recovery in the numbers: revenue from operations rose 22.0% and net profit rose 72.2%. Tax expense was 23.3% of profit before tax, against 25.5% in Q1 FY27.

Note 5 says the company acts as an agent and recognises software and allied support revenue on a net basis. Gross sales billed to customers were ₹704.82 crore in the quarter, netted against gross purchases of ₹519.87 crore, so reported revenue is well below the gross billing.

The auditor, Price Waterhouse & Co Chartered Accountants LLP, issued a limited review report on the standalone results with an unmodified conclusion. The report notes two branches that were not reviewed by their auditors, whose figures the auditor says are not material. The standalone results show no exceptional items for the quarter.

The company treats its operations as one business segment, a single line of business in strategic technology advisory and secure management of digital assets in hybrid-cloud environments. Note 6 records an incremental liability of ₹4.79 crore from the labour codes for the year ended 31 Mar 2026, under exceptional items, outside this quarter.

    Inference

The filing reports half-year revenue from operations of ₹336.57 crore and half-year profit of ₹40.80 crore on a standalone basis, with trade receivables of ₹1,073.06 crore and current borrowings of ₹67.32 crore as at 30 Sep 2026. The board approved the financial results on 5 Nov 2026 and incorporation of a step-down subsidiary in Bangladesh, a subsidiary of Asia iValue Pte. Ltd. The filing says the subsidiary's initial share capital, subscription amount, price per share and final shareholding will be disclosed after incorporation, and that incorporation is subject to approvals in Bangladesh. The filing does not give a dividend, and a reader would want to know whether one is planned; the filing does not say.
