Consolidated net profit rose 11.0% year on year while total income rose 18.4%, so profit grew more slowly than income. Profit before tax was broadly flat, down 0.3% at ₹74.18 crore against ₹74.39 crore a year earlier.
Other income fell from ₹38.80 crore to ₹10.25 crore, while revenue from operations rose 21.1% to ₹1,656.37 crore. Other income is now 0.6% of total income, against 2.8% a year earlier, so the reported total income growth rests on the operating line rather than on other income. Finance costs rose 3.7% to ₹73.06 crore, which is 4.4% of total income.
Against the previous quarter, consolidated profit rose 38.5% and profit before tax rose 23.6%, while finance costs fell 11.8%. The statement carries an exceptional item of ₹9.69 crore in the quarter ended 30 Jun 2026, shown as a charge in that quarter; the filing does not say what it relates to.

The filing gives a company-wide note on the Environment Protection (End-of-Life Vehicles) Rules, 2025. The company says it is unable to reliably estimate the financial impact of the extended producer responsibility obligations, because the framework for determining financial obligations and the pricing mechanism for EPR certificates are not yet available. The filing does not quantify any effect on either set of results.
The Statutory Auditors, R.N. Marwah & Co. LLP, expressed an unmodified review conclusion on both the consolidated and standalone results. The company also renamed its OEM Division as the EV Business, and the segment information is disclosed within the consolidated results.
Inference
The filing reports results for the quarter and half year ended 30 Sep 2026 and records a board approval on 26 Oct 2026. The consolidated half-year net profit is ₹105.56 crore, of which ₹100.84 crore is attributable to owners of the Company.
The filing does not say what the exceptional item of ₹9.69 crore relates to, what reason the company gives for the change in profit against the year-ago and previous quarters, or what the financial effect of the EPR rules on the results will be. No dividend for the quarter is mentioned in the filing.
