Jindal Poly Films (NSE: JINDALPOLY) says in an update to the exchanges that a Singapore court granted an interim anti-suit injunction on 2 Nov 2026 against its petition before the National Company Law Tribunal over JPFL Films Private Limited, a material subsidiary, it said in a filing on 04 Nov 2026. The investor is Project Holdings Fourteen (DIFC) Limited.

    What the Singapore injunction covers

The Investor, Project Holdings Fourteen (DIFC) Limited, filed Originating Application HC/OA 1179/2026 before the General Division of the High Court of the Republic of Singapore. It seeks, among other relief, anti-suit injunctive relief in respect of the company's petition before the National Company Law Tribunal, New Delhi Bench.

The Singapore court granted an interim anti-suit injunction on 2 Nov 2026. The filing says a copy of the order was received by the company on 3 Nov 2026.

Delhi petition disposed, with rights reserved

In a separate matter, the Investor had filed a Section 9 petition under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 before the High Court of Delhi at New Delhi against JPFL Films, as Respondent No. 1, and the company, as Respondent No. 2, seeking interim measures in aid of the arbitration.

On 3 Nov 2026 the Delhi High Court disposed of that petition. It opined that the agreed dispute resolution mechanism provided alternative avenues to obtain adequate interim relief, and directed that the parties may pursue the rights and remedies available to them. The company and JPFL Films have undertaken to preserve all documents and company records relating to the dispute.

The company's intimation dated 2 Nov 2026 was the earlier disclosure on these matters, and the company says this update continues it.

What the dispute means for Jindal Poly Films' shareholders

The filing does not say how much the Investor claims in the arbitration, what the financial impact on the company or JPFL Films may be, or what the next date is in the Singapore proceedings or the NCLT petition.

No next dated step is given in the filing.
