Profit grew more slowly than income this quarter, and tax took a smaller share of pre-tax profit than a year earlier. Net profit of ₹36.11 crore rose 100.4% against total income up 111.5%. Profit before tax rose 70.2% to ₹45.86 crore, and tax of ₹9.75 crore is 21.3% of it, against ₹8.92 crore on ₹26.94 crore in Q2 FY26, a share of 33.1%, and 22.3% in Q1 FY27 (₹9.44 crore on ₹42.33 crore).

Other income of ₹7.49 crore rose 212.9% and is 2.3% of total income, against 1.5% a year earlier. It is 16.3% of profit before tax. Finance costs of ₹3.05 crore are up 254.4% on ₹0.86 crore a year earlier, and 0.9% of total income. Depreciation rose 51.1% to ₹7.32 crore.

Net profit of ₹15.56 crore is down 34.2%, and basic EPS fell to ₹2.37 from ₹3.81. Tax of ₹5.29 crore is 25.4% of profit before tax, against 25.2% a year earlier.

Other income of ₹3.01 crore is down 20.5% and is 1.8% of total income. Finance costs of ₹1.38 crore are up 71.7% on a year earlier and 0.8% of total income. Depreciation fell 18.1% to ₹0.77 crore.

Consolidated net profit of ₹36.11 crore is ₹20.55 crore higher than the standalone figure of ₹15.56 crore. For the half year ended 30 Sep 2026, consolidated net profit is ₹69.01 crore and standalone net profit is ₹34.23 crore.
