The company computes income tax at 25.17% from the current financial year under section 200 of the Income-tax Act, 2025. The company says the tax expense is not comparable with the year-earlier periods, primarily due to the change in its tax regime assessment, the utilisation of brought-forward loss and the recognition of MAT credit in FY 2025-26.

Labour Codes impact of ₹3.80 crore was recognised as past service cost in employee benefits expenses for the year ended 31 Mar 2026. The auditors' limited review does not modify their conclusion on the consolidated results for the three subsidiaries reviewed by other auditors and the two subsidiaries not reviewed by their auditors, which are stated to be not material to the Group.

Option grantees were allotted 7,03,126 equity shares on 12 Aug 2026, taking the equity shares outstanding to 27,79,14,693 of face value ₹2 each. The company reverted to the old tax regime at 34.94% in the quarter ended 31 Mar 2026, based on the availability of MAT credit that can be carried forward against future tax liabilities.

The Board approved the appointment of Rajesh Naik as an Additional Director and Whole-time Director, designated Executive Director (Operations), with effect from 6 Nov 2026 for five years to 5 Nov 2031, subject to shareholders' approval. Naik currently heads the manufacturing function, and the company says his appointment is meant to strengthen Board-level oversight of manufacturing operations. A postal ballot notice will seek shareholders' approval for Harshvardhan Goenka's appointment and re-designation as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, and for Naik's appointment as a director.

What is not known from the filing is the reason for the rise in revenue and finance costs, and the outcome of the postal ballot.
