Standalone net profit was ₹62.22 crore, down 17.3% from a year earlier and up from ₹20.80 crore in the quarter ended 30 Jun 2026. Profit before tax was ₹85.64 crore, up 2.4% from ₹83.65 crore a year earlier, so profit before tax rose while net profit fell. Tax expense rose to ₹23.42 crore from ₹8.45 crore.
Total income was ₹249.13 crore, down 10.0% year on year, while other income fell 80.1%, from ₹58.37 crore to ₹11.61 crore. Revenue from operations rose 8.8% to ₹237.52 crore. Other income was 4.7% of total income this quarter.
Standalone exceptional items net to a gain of ₹43.78 crore: the ₹47.26 crore gain on the Chennai property, less a ₹1.90 crore provision for impairment of an investment in a subsidiary and ₹1.58 crore of restructuring cost. The notes say the impairment provision had no impact on the consolidated results.
Consolidated net profit of ₹105.67 crore was ₹43.45 crore higher than standalone net profit of ₹62.22 crore. The consolidated statement includes the Company and its 21 subsidiaries.
Inference
The Board approved the results on 23 Oct 2026. Statutory auditors Walker Chandiok & Co LLP carried out a limited review and reported nothing to indicate that the statements were not prepared under Ind AS 34 and Regulation 33.
The Board recommended a final dividend of ₹16 per share, 320% of the ₹5 face value. Shareholders approved it at the AGM on 7 Sep 2026, and it was paid on 18 Sep 2026. The notes give the incremental Labour Codes impact as ₹21.35 crore for gratuity and ₹8.77 crore for long-term compensated absences, which the Company says arose primarily from a change in wage definition.
The filing does not give a reason for the fall in standalone other income from a year earlier.
