Income grew much faster than the same quarter a year earlier, and profit grew faster still. Revenue from operations of ₹667.39 crore is almost all of total income, with other income of ₹1.23 crore. Net profit rose 126.9% to ₹4.64 crore, while profit before tax rose 134.9% to ₹6.02 crore, so tax of ₹1.38 crore, 22.9% of profit before tax, was a larger share of profit than in the year-earlier quarter.
Finance costs of ₹6.26 crore rose 41.6% from ₹4.42 crore a year earlier and were 0.9% of total income. Depreciation was flat at ₹0.17 crore. Profit attributable to owners of the parent was ₹3.07 crore, with the balance of ₹1.57 crore attributable to non-controlling interest, based on the filing's split of profit.
Note 6 of the filing states that this loss includes ₹12.01 crore arising from a change in the fair value of investments held by one subsidiary, which are classified as financial assets measured at FVTOCI. Total comprehensive income attributable to owners of the parent was negative in the quarter, as shown in the filing.

The filing states that previous period figures have been re-grouped or re-classified where needed. The reason for the rise in consolidated revenue from operations is not stated in the filing.
Inference
The filing says that, based on its audited FY 2025-26 financial statements, the company does not meet the principal business criteria for an NBFC because income from financial assets is not more than 50% of gross income. The board approved voluntary surrender of its NBFC Certificate of Registration on 15 Apr 2026, and a fresh application has been filed with the RBI, which is under consideration. The filing does not say when the RBI will decide.
The filing gives consolidated borrowings of ₹221.13 crore and a consolidated other equity deficit of ₹41.17 crore at 30 Sep 2026. It does not give a reason for either, or whether any dividend has been declared or proposed. The auditors' review reports on both statements contain no material misstatement conclusion, and their other matter paragraph refers to unmodified conclusions by predecessor auditors on the prior periods.
