Consolidated total income rose 6.1% year on year to ₹243.72 crore, while net profit fell 19.2% to ₹21.25 crore. Revenue from operations grew 6.6%, but other income fell 0.9% and depreciation rose 36.6%, so profit before tax declined faster than income.

Other income of ₹16.02 crore equals 61.1% of consolidated profit before tax of ₹26.20 crore. Tax of ₹4.95 crore is 18.9% of profit before tax, against a year-earlier tax of ₹9.12 crore on ₹35.41 crore, so the lower tax charge offsets part of the fall in pre-tax profit.

The quarter ended 30 Jun 2026 carried an exceptional item of ₹9.82 crore, which the filing says relates to a revision in the remuneration structure after the Labour Codes. The quarter under review has no exceptional item, so the comparison with that quarter is not like for like.

Standalone net profit fell 31.3% YoY to ₹19.12 crore, against total income growth of 4.0%. Other income fell 16.0% to ₹15.93 crore, which is 67.4% of standalone profit before tax of ₹23.62 crore.

Standalone tax expense of ₹4.50 crore is 19.1% of profit before tax, down from ₹8.70 crore a year earlier. Finance costs of ₹0.30 crore are small against revenue from operations of ₹208.09 crore.

Consolidated net profit of ₹21.25 crore is ₹2.13 crore above standalone net profit of ₹19.12 crore. Consolidated net profit fell 19.2% YoY, less than standalone net profit, which fell 31.3%.

The auditors gave an unmodified opinion on the standalone results and a limited review conclusion on the consolidated results. One subsidiary's figures were reviewed by another auditor, and seven subsidiaries and the Trust were unreviewed and furnished by the Board.

    Inference

The filing says the Board approved the results on 31 Oct 2026. It records a final dividend of ₹12.50 a share for the year ended 31 Mar 2026, approved at the AGM on 27 Jul 2026 and paid on 28 Jul 2026, and treasury share purchases of ₹8.46 crore in the six months. Share based compensation of ₹4.60 crore was recorded in the six months, and RSUs were granted on 20 May 2026 and 2 Aug 2026.

The filing does not state the reason for the fall in profit before tax, and it does not give a dividend amount or record date for the quarter.
