Consolidated profit fell while income rose. Total income grew 2.2% year on year to ₹856.20 crore, but net profit fell 15.5% to ₹70.92 crore, and profit before tax fell 7.8% to ₹96.40 crore. Depreciation rose 45.6% to ₹39.90 crore, and tax rose 23.6% to ₹25.48 crore, which is 26.4% of profit before tax.

Other income is a larger share of the quarter than before. Other income of ₹8.60 crore is 8.9% of profit before tax of ₹96.40 crore, against ₹5.94 crore a year earlier, when finance costs were ₹6.03 crore. Finance costs of ₹0.75 crore are 0.1% of total income this quarter.

Prior-year figures were not reviewed. The results notes say the figures for the corresponding quarter and half year ended 30 Sep 2025 were approved by the board but not subjected to limited review, as the company listed in April 2026. The year-earlier base is therefore unreviewed, and the comparison in the table rests on it.

Consolidated net profit rose 10.1% quarter on quarter, faster than total income (up 7.2%). Net profit attributable to owners was ₹69.79 crore, against ₹63.07 crore in Q1 FY27. The company says margins are likely to remain under pressure in the near term because of rising steel prices and supplier hikes.

    Inference

The filing reports an IPO completed in April 2026 at ₹395 a share, which raised a net ₹661.51 crore. Of that, ₹554.30 crore was used up to 30 Sep 2026 and ₹107.21 crore was unutilised, with ₹107.20 crore held in fixed deposits.

The board approved a sale of 49% of Windstride Power Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary, to GE Renewable R&D India Private Limited for ₹2,11,54,525. Windstride remains a subsidiary with the company holding 51%. The board also approved a postal ballot notice seeking shareholder approval for a loan to Windstride. The filing does not give the purpose or terms of that loan, or the effect of the stake sale on results.

The filing does not say whether a dividend will be paid, and the reason for the sharp fall in finance costs is not stated.
