Net profit rose 9.3% quarter on quarter while total income fell 6.1%.

Other income of ₹0.24 crore is 139.6% of the quarter's profit before tax of ₹0.17 crore. Finance costs of ₹0.07 crore are 4.2% of total income. The tax line was a credit of ₹0.15 crore, so the net profit of ₹0.32 crore is above the pre-tax profit.

The auditors draw attention to Note 4 on expenditure on wells in the NK block that are still in the testing phase. The expenditure has been capitalised, and the sales generated during testing have been recognised as revenue. The company does not give the amount of that revenue in the results.

Standalone total income rose 32.9% year on year from ₹1.27 crore, while consolidated total income fell 10.5% from ₹1.88 crore.

The year-earlier base differs between the two sets: the consolidated Q2 FY26 figures include higher depreciation of ₹0.12 crore and employee costs, against ₹0.02 crore of depreciation standalone. Standalone revenue from operations rose 24.5% year on year, slower than other income, which rose 122.4%.

The company says it operates in a single business segment, oil and gas exploration and production. Fully paid-up equity share capital rose to ₹14.64 crore after 95,13,903 partly paid shares were converted and listed with effect from 11 Sep 2026. The balance of the call money remains receivable.

    Inference

The filing says the board approved both sets of results on 5 Nov 2026 and that the auditors issued an unmodified conclusion on each. The filing gives no dividend declaration or proposal. The filing does not say how the proceeds of the rights issue will be used, how much is still receivable on the partly paid shares, when the NK block wells will move to commercial production, or the amount of testing-phase revenue.
