Net profit grew faster than total income.
Other income of ₹8.94 crore is 4.4% of consolidated total income and 18.8% of profit before tax of ₹47.58 crore. Finance costs of ₹8.77 crore are 4.4% of total income, rising 41.7% from ₹6.19 crore a year earlier, faster than revenue.
Tax expense of ₹10.98 crore is 23.1% of profit before tax this quarter, compared with ₹10.51 crore a year earlier on a lower profit before tax of ₹40.64 crore. The filing gives no reason for the change in tax charge; the auditors' review carries an emphasis of matter that tax provisions and deferred tax have been determined as estimated by management solely.

Standalone net profit rose 20.1% YoY to ₹7.72 crore, while standalone total income rose 8.0%. Revenue from operations rose 27.3% to ₹35.65 crore and other income fell 21.0% to ₹14.76 crore. Other income is 29.3% of standalone total income and 152.6% of standalone profit before tax of ₹9.67 crore.
Standalone profit before tax rose 26.4% to ₹9.67 crore, and tax expense rose 58.5% to ₹1.95 crore, about 20.2% of profit before tax. Standalone finance costs of ₹2.22 crore are 4.4% of total income, up 40.5% YoY.
Against the previous quarter, standalone net profit rose 649.5% from ₹1.03 crore and profit before tax rose from ₹1.39 crore, while total income rose 38.0%. The filing gives no reason for the standalone other income or tax movements.
Consolidated net profit of ₹36.60 crore is ₹28.88 crore higher than standalone net profit of ₹7.72 crore. Consolidated total income of ₹201.27 crore is ₹150.86 crore higher than standalone total income of ₹50.41 crore. The consolidated results include Apnar Pharma Private Limited, acquired 75% on 16 Jan 2026, along with the Senores Pharmaceuticals Inc, Havix Group Inc, Ratnatris Pharmaceuticals Private Limited subsidiaries and three step-down subsidiaries.
The media release says the company is on track to deliver 30-40% revenue growth and 50-60% PAT growth in FY27, and that initial set-up and operating costs of Zoraya and Amerisyn, without corresponding revenue, held back EBITDA. Consolidated EBITDA was ₹58 crore, up 38% YoY.
Inference
The filing states that the board approved the joint statutory auditors Talati and Talati LLP for 2026-27 to 2030-31, subject to shareholders' approval, and that IPO proceeds of ₹418.83 crore of ₹500 crore had been utilised by 30 Sep 2026, leaving ₹81.17 crore unutilised. The 11,70,000 warrants allotted on 28 Mar 2026 at ₹812 each carry a ₹95 crore aggregate, of which ₹23.75 crore had been received; the filing does not say whether the warrants have been converted or the balance paid.
The filing does not give the reason for the lower standalone other income or the change in standalone tax rate, and does not give the timing of the balance 25% Apnar stake acquisition.
