S.J.S. Enterprises’ subsidiary signs a sub-lease for an ₹81 crore cover glass and display electronics plant near Pune

S.J.S. Enterprises Limited has told the exchanges that its wholly owned subsidiary, SJS Display Electronics Private Limited (SDEPL), has signed and registered an Agreement to Sub-Lease on 11 Oct 2026 for a manufacturing facility, built to the subsidiary’s requirements, at Village Koregaon Bhima, Taluka Shirur, District Pune, Maharashtra. The disclosure was made on 11 Oct 2026 and continues the company’s disclosure of 31 Aug 2026 about the incorporation of SDEPL.
The facility has a built-up area of about 60,000 square feet on a build-to-suit basis, and is expected to be ready for commercial operations by Sep 2027. The investment is estimated at about ₹81 crore, made up of about ₹65 crore for plant and machinery and about ₹16 crore for the building on lease, treated as a right-of-use asset. The company says it will be financed from internal accruals and debt, and that the plant is a step in its expansion into the cover glass and display electronics business through SDEPL.

SDEPL is newly incorporated and has no existing plant or capacity, so this facility would be its first. The filing sets the start of commercial operations at about eleven months away.
