Profit grew faster than revenue at the consolidated level. Revenue from operations rose 14.0% year on year to ₹5,661.13 crore, while net profit rose 17.7% to ₹467.23 crore. Profit before tax rose 19.4%, and tax expense rose 24.9%, so the net profit margin widened from 7.93% to 8.20%.
Other income was ₹38.57 crore, 0.7% of total income and 6.2% of profit before tax of ₹624.91 crore. Finance costs fell 22.7% YoY to ₹25.70 crore. The company says revenue growth was driven by 17% growth in India Business and 9% in Non-Branded Business, while International Business revenue was marginally lower, impacted by continued heatwave.
The company's note says inflationary pressures on key input costs in India Branded Business partly offset improvement in International Business and Non-Branded Business operating performance. A consolidated exceptional item of ₹7.37 crore relates to an adjustment of contingent consideration paid on a business acquisition.

Standalone revenue from operations rose 17.0% year on year to ₹4,207.50 crore, but net profit fell 14.9% to ₹242.81 crore. The gap comes below operating profit: exceptional items of ₹64.37 crore are deducted before profit before tax of ₹354.54 crore, which was 7.8% lower than a year earlier. Tax expense of ₹111.73 crore is 31.5% of that profit before tax.
The exceptional items comprise a fair value loss of ₹57 crore on a financial instrument held in an associate and an adjustment of ₹7 crore relating to contingent consideration paid on a business acquisition. The company says profit after tax is lower due to these exceptional items.
The filing does not give a reason for the June quarter other income.
Consolidated net profit of ₹467.23 crore is ₹224.42 crore higher than standalone. The consolidated figure includes the group's subsidiaries and a share of profit from associates and joint ventures of ₹2.91 crore in the quarter, against a loss of ₹17.67 crore in the June quarter.
Consolidated net profit attributable to owners of the parent was ₹469.30 crore, and EPS was ₹4.75 basic.
Inference
The filing shows a dividend paid of ₹989.57 crore at standalone level and ₹994.77 crore at consolidated level in the six months to 30 Sep 2026, and an acquisition of non-controlling interest of ₹230.00 crore in the same period. Consolidated net worth stood at ₹23,247.00 crore and standalone at ₹17,824.46 crore on 30 Sep 2026. The filing does not say whether the dividend was a final or interim dividend, or its record date, and does not give details of the business acquisition or the contingent consideration payable.
