Tech Mahindra Limited has reported audited consolidated results for the quarter ended 30 Sep 2026. Revenue was ₹16,180 crore, up 3.0% from the June quarter and 15.6% from a year earlier. EBIT was ₹2,387 crore, up 40.5% year on year, and profit after tax was ₹1,586 crore, up 32.7%. Diluted earnings per share were ₹17.84.

In US dollars, revenue was $1,693 million, up 6.8% year on year in reported terms and 7.2% in constant currency. New deal wins were worth $1,023 million, up 25.4%, and the EBIT margin was 14.8%. The company reports headcount of 152,206, last-twelve-month IT attrition of 11.7% and cash and cash equivalents of ₹7,330 crore.

The board declared an interim dividend of ₹15 per equity share of face value ₹5 (300%), with a record date of 23 Oct 2026 and payment by 13 Nov 2026.

The board also recommended, for shareholder approval through a postal ballot, a bonus issue in the ratio of 1:1, meaning one new share for every share held, and an increase in authorised share capital from ₹924.3 crore to ₹1,000 crore. The record date for the bonus issue will be announced separately.

    Inference

A bonus issue gives shareholders extra shares at no cost, and the share count doubles, so each share represents a smaller part of the company; it does not by itself change what the company is worth. The recommendation still needs shareholders' approval through the postal ballot, and the record date has not been set.

The dividend is separate: it is paid to those on the register on 23 Oct 2026. The profit and margin figures show the company's results for the quarter, and the filing does not give guidance for later quarters. Shareholders may want to follow the bonus record date and the postal ballot outcome.
