Consolidated net profit fell 79.5% year on year, more than total income, which fell 21.2%. Profit before tax fell 79.3% to ₹8.91 crore, and tax of ₹2.33 crore is 26.1% of that profit before tax, against ₹10.96 crore a year earlier.
Finance costs of ₹1.85 crore are 1.0% of total income this quarter, down 12.0% from ₹2.10 crore. Depreciation rose 13.8% to ₹7.64 crore, so depreciation now takes a larger share of a smaller revenue base.
The statement includes Mabel Engineers Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary. Consolidated net profit of ₹6.58 crore is ₹2.57 crore lower than standalone net profit of ₹9.15 crore, and consolidated total income of ₹183.36 crore is ₹15.31 crore higher than standalone total income of ₹168.05 crore. The filing does not split these differences by entity.
The filing says the Labour Codes past service cost of ₹1.45 crore net of tax is shown as an exceptional item for the year ended 31 Mar 2026, and the exceptional item line is nil for the quarter.

Inference
The filing says the board approved the results with an unmodified conclusion from the statutory auditors on both sets of figures. The company has a single operating segment, Engineering Products. Dividend payments in the half year to 30 Sep 2026 were ₹23.58 crore, against ₹33.57 crore a year earlier, and the filing does not give the reason for the change. Standalone net cash from operating activities was ₹65.72 crore for the half year, and consolidated ₹59.30 crore.
The filing does not say why revenue and profit fell sharply from the year-earlier quarter, whether the Labour Codes will add further costs once the remaining rules are notified, or what share count the EPS figures use.
