Net profit grew faster than total income. Net profit was ₹38.59 crore in the quarter ended 30 Sep 2026, against ₹29.07 crore a year earlier, a rise of 32.8%. Total income rose 22.4%, from ₹66.49 crore to ₹81.39 crore. Profit before tax rose 32.2%, from ₹36.57 crore to ₹48.34 crore.
The quarter ended 30 Jun 2026 had a different mix. Total income was ₹115.15 crore, of which other income was ₹34.13 crore and revenue from operations was ₹81.02 crore. The notes say net interest on an income tax refund of ₹34.00 crore was recognised as other income in that quarter, and that the net current tax asset of ₹8.08 crore for Assessment Years 1995-96 to 2002-03 was adjusted in the same quarter. The statement also shows a provision for bad and doubtful debts of ₹1.20 crore in that quarter.
Revenue from operations was ₹80.18 crore, against ₹66.45 crore a year earlier (up 20.7%) and ₹81.02 crore in the previous quarter (down 1.0%). Finance costs rose 10.8% from ₹23.42 crore to ₹25.96 crore and were 31.9% of total income. Other income of ₹1.20 crore is 2.5% of profit before tax of ₹48.34 crore, and tax expense of ₹9.75 crore is 20.2% of that profit before tax.
The notes say the expected credit loss provision on loan assets as at 30 Sep 2026 is higher than the provision required under RBI IRACP norms, and that an impairment reserve is therefore not required under RBI guidelines on Ind AS implementation for NBFCs. The statutory auditors reviewed the results and issued an unmodified report.
Inference
The Board approved the results on 3 Nov 2026. The non-convertible debentures are unsecured, and the company says it issued no non-convertible securities in the quarter or half year ended 30 Sep 2026.
The filing does not say what the company expects from the tax refund, or how it expects other income to move in later quarters.
