Standalone net profit fell 13.9% year on year to ₹143.10 crore, slightly more than the 13.8% fall in total income to ₹337.22 crore. Revenue from operations fell 13.7% to ₹336.63 crore, of which sale of services was ₹324.05 crore.
Tax took a larger share of a smaller profit before tax. Standalone tax expense rose 37.0% to ₹37.93 crore, 21.0% of profit before tax of ₹181.03 crore, against 14.3% a year earlier. Standalone net profit is ₹10.79 crore above consolidated net profit for the quarter.
The notes say the results are largely reflective of the asset management business, and that there are no separate reportable segments under Ind AS 108. The consolidated statement gives geographic revenue of ₹374.02 crore from the domestic segment and ₹24.38 crore from the international segment.
The company paid a final dividend of ₹40 per equity share in the quarter, approved at the AGM on 21 Jul 2026. Dividing consolidated net profit by basic EPS gives about 12.86 crore shares, which implies a payout of about ₹514.32 crore, close to the ₹514.14 crore consolidated cash outflow for dividends in the half year.
Inference
The dividend is the main cash item in the filing: at ₹40 per share, the payout on the share count implied by consolidated EPS is about ₹514.32 crore, close to the half-year cash outflow for dividends. Stock option exercises added 14,884 equity shares in the quarter, a small change to the share count.
Per share, consolidated basic EPS was ₹10.29 against ₹8.82 a year earlier, and standalone basic EPS was ₹11.13 against ₹12.97. The filing does not say why revenue and profit fell from the June quarter, nor how much of profit comes from net gains on fair value changes, and it does not say whether any interim dividend will be declared.
