Net profit grew more slowly than income. Total income rose 30.0% year on year, while net profit rose 22.7% and profit before tax rose 22.6%, with tax expense up 22.3% to ₹4.64 crore. The net profit margin fell from 31.78% to 30.00%.

Other income is a small part of the result. At ₹0.92 crore it is 2.0% of total income and 5.1% of profit before tax of ₹18.23 crore, so revenue from operations of ₹44.37 crore carries most of the quarter's income. Revenue from operations rose 28.1% year on year.

Finance costs of ₹0.12 crore are 0.3% of total income, and depreciation of ₹0.89 crore rose 20.3% year on year. The statement shows no exceptional items for the quarter.

The tax expense of ₹4.64 crore is 25.5% of profit before tax. The statement does not give a reason for the rise in other expenditure and employee benefit expense in the quarter.

    Inference

The filing states that the company has no subsidiary, associate or joint venture as on 30 Sep 2026, and that its only reportable segment is Pharma Polymers. Paid-up equity share capital is ₹31.36 crore at a face value of ₹10 each.

The half-year dividend paid was ₹36.49 lakh, against ₹3.14 crore a year earlier. The filing does not say what dividend, if any, the board plans for the year, and it does not give a reason for the change in inventories line in the quarter.
