ASM Technologies Limited has told BSE that its board approved, on 16 Oct 2026, the allotment of 10,78,974 equity shares of face value ₹10 each on a preferential basis. The shares were issued at ₹4,875 each, including a premium of ₹4,865, for a total of up to ₹525,99,98,250, or about ₹526 crore.

The allottees are all classed as non-promoters. They are SBI Mutual Fund, through three of its schemes, which together received 8,22,564 shares, SBI Emergent India Fund with 1,02,564 shares, Derive Trading and Resorts Private Limited with 1,02,564 shares, and Asha Mukul Agrawal with 51,282 shares.

After the allotment, the company’s paid-up equity share capital rises from ₹14,58,85,980, made up of 1,45,88,598 shares, to ₹15,66,75,720, made up of 1,56,67,572 shares. The new shares are about 7.4% of the share count before the allotment.

The filing says the allotment follows the SEBI capital issue regulations of 2018 and that the new shares will be listed on BSE. It follows the company’s earlier intimations of 9 Sep 2026, 11 Sep 2026 and 4 Oct 2026.

    Inference

The allotment adds 10,78,974 shares, about 7.4% more than the shares outstanding before it, and raises about ₹526 crore for the company. For existing shareholders, a preferential issue to new investors means their holding becomes a smaller percentage of a larger share count, although the money raised also adds to the company’s capital.

The filing does not say how the company plans to use the funds, so that cannot be assessed from this announcement. All the allottees are non-promoters, so the promoters’ share of the company falls as the share count rises. Investors may want to look for the company’s statement on the use of proceeds.
