Standalone net profit fell faster than income. Total income rose 12.5% year on year, but net profit fell 31.5%, and the gap is wider than in the consolidated figures. Other income fell 41.7%, from ₹12.52 crore to ₹7.30 crore.
Standalone tax of ₹7.48 crore is 25.6% of profit before tax of ₹29.19 crore, against 22.9% a year earlier. Other income is 25.0% of profit before tax. The standalone foreign exchange gain in other income was ₹2.41 crore, against ₹7.66 crore a year earlier.
Standalone short-term borrowings stood at ₹95.03 crore at 30 Sep 2026, against nil at 31 Mar 2026. The notes do not give the reason for this borrowing.
The auditors issued an unmodified conclusion on both sets of results. They did not review nine subsidiaries, which were reviewed by other auditors, and their report says 32 subsidiaries were reviewed by neither them nor other auditors, with management stating these are not material to the group.
The company says the Board recommended a dividend of ₹2 per equity share for FY2025-26, approved at the Annual General Meeting on 29 Sep 2026 and paid on 06 Oct 2026. The notes say the Labour Codes took effect on 21 Nov 2025 and the company restructured its employee compensation from 01 Apr 2026; the company says it will evaluate any consequential accounting adjustments in future periods.
Inference
The filing reports short-term borrowings of ₹95.03 crore standalone and ₹151.43 crore consolidated at 30 Sep 2026, and the company has paid a dividend of ₹2 per share. The filing does not say what the borrowings fund or when they will be repaid, and it does not give the reason for the rise in consolidated finance costs from ₹1.33 crore to ₹4.96 crore.
