Bhansali Engineering Polymers reported consolidated total income of ₹413.08 crore and net profit of ₹62.46 crore for the quarter ended 30 Sep 2026. Standalone total income was ₹413.98 crore and net profit was ₹63.03 crore.

Profit grew faster than revenue, and held up against June as revenue fell. Revenue from operations rose 24.1% to ₹403.37 crore and net profit 54.4% to ₹62.46 crore, a margin of 15.12% against 12.16%. Against June revenue fell 14.6% and profit 4.1% from ₹65.14 crore, so the margin rose. Finance costs are negligible at ₹0.04 crore, depreciation was ₹2.04 crore and tax took 28.2% of profit before tax against 26.5%. Earnings per share were ₹2.51 against ₹1.63.

The board declared a second interim dividend of ₹1 a share (100% of the ₹1 face value) for FY2027, with the record date on Saturday, 24 October 2026, payable on or before 17 November 2026; with the ₹1 declared in July, interim dividends so far are ₹2 a share (200%). At about 24.9 crore shares (derived from profit and earnings per share) the ₹1 dividend is about ₹25 crore, 40% of the quarter's profit (derived).

The standalone figures are almost the group's. Net profit was ₹63.03 crore, ₹0.57 crore above the consolidated figure, and total income of ₹413.98 crore includes other income of ₹10.61 crore, 38.5% higher. Tax took 27.9% of profit before tax.

The company said an expansion plan to raise ABS production capacity from 75,000 to 100,000 tonnes a year, at an estimated cost of ₹200 crore, was expected to be complete by September 2026 but is delayed: imported equipment has not been delivered because of a shortage of shipping containers, and the foreign suppliers' service engineers cannot commit visit dates for commissioning trials, which the company attributes to disturbances from the Gulf and Russia-Ukraine wars.

Inference

Bhansali Engineering's profit is growing faster than revenue, and it has declared a second interim dividend of ₹1 a share.

The ₹200 crore ABS capacity expansion is behind schedule, and the filing gives no new completion date in the text read.
