Consolidated net profit grew faster than income. Net profit rose 46.1% YoY to ₹103.63 crore while total income rose 28.4%, and profit before tax rose 44.3%. Tax expense grew 39.6%, so the tax line did not hold back profit growth in the year.

Other income is small at ₹2.09 crore, or 0.1% of total income, so the result rests on operating revenue of ₹1,780.04 crore. Finance costs of ₹33.94 crore are 1.9% of total income, up 8.8% from the year-earlier quarter while depreciation rose 23.9%.

The consolidated figures include a note that an expense of ₹7.68 crore for the year ended 31 Mar 2026, linked to the New Labour Codes, was disclosed as an exceptional item. The consolidated statement shows no exceptional item for the quarter itself. The company says the Logistics Services segment operating expenses were re-grouped for prior periods.

Standalone net profit rose 38.9% YoY to ₹101.08 crore, slower than the consolidated rise of 46.1%. Standalone total income grew 27.0%, and profit before tax grew 38.1%, so the standalone profit growth tracks its income growth closely.

Other income of ₹12.38 crore is 0.8% of total income, and it grew 20.0% YoY. Tax expense of ₹34.98 crore is 25.7% of profit before tax, against 26.1% a year earlier, computed from the year-earlier figures in the table.

Against the previous quarter, standalone net profit rose 7.0% while total income rose 13.5%, so the sequential profit growth was slower than income growth. The standalone statement shows no exceptional items for the quarter.

    Inference

The filing says the standalone paid-up equity share capital is ₹5.27 crore at a face value of Re. 1 each, and that the statement shows dividends paid of ₹22.22 crore in the half year ended 30 Sep 2026. The filing does not say which financial year that dividend relates to.

The standalone operating cash flow for the half year was ₹65.60 crore, against ₹290.10 crore a year before, and standalone trade receivables rose to ₹673.34 crore from ₹518.96 crore at 31 Mar 2026. The filing does not give the reasons for these changes, and the effect on future cash flow is not known.

The auditors, S.R. Batliboi & Co. LLP, expressed an unmodified conclusion on both sets of results. The filing does not say why finance costs rose.
