DEE Development Engineers Limited has told the exchanges that it has entered into a framework agreement with a domestic EPC contractor to jointly pursue business opportunities in India’s nuclear power sector. Under the agreement, the company will act as a strategic partner to the EPC contractor. The disclosure was made on 16 Oct 2026 under Regulation 30 of the SEBI listing rules.

The agreement covers ongoing and upcoming projects of public and private sector developers, across PHWR, LWR and SMR reactor types. The packages in focus are the Nuclear Island, for primary piping and common services, and the Turbine Island, for secondary-cycle piping and light water systems. The products covered are pipes, pipe fittings, piping spools and forged pipes.

DEE’s role is to provide pre-bid support, design and engineering, manufacturing, supply and sourcing of piping products, and the related documentation. The EPC contractor will handle sourcing enquiries, customer interaction, preparing offers and finalising contracts in consultation with DEE, along with all site activities. The company withheld the contractor’s name for commercial and confidentiality reasons.

The filing says the framework agreement is not, by itself, an order or contract for supply. Business will arise only when projects are awarded to the EPC contractor and definitive commercial terms are agreed, and the agreement fixes no execution period and carries no committed order value.

    Inference

The agreement sets out how the two companies will work together, but it does not guarantee any orders. The company says any business depends on the contractor winning projects and on separate commercial terms being agreed.

Because there is no committed value or timeline, the filing gives nothing that can be added to the company’s order book. Shareholders will learn of any resulting orders from later announcements.
