Net profit grew faster than total income. Net profit was ₹109.22 crore against ₹93.97 crore a year earlier, up 16.2%, while total income rose 10.3% to ₹666.68 crore from ₹604.57 crore. Profit before tax rose 17.1% to ₹146.47 crore from ₹125.07 crore, and basic EPS was ₹24.43 against ₹20.85.

Revenue from operations was ₹657.51 crore against ₹598.25 crore, up 9.9%. Other income was ₹9.17 crore against ₹6.32 crore, up 45.2%. Other income was 1.4% of total income this quarter and 6.3% of profit before tax of ₹146.47 crore.

Finance costs were ₹0.76 crore against ₹0.82 crore a year earlier, and depreciation was ₹14.91 crore against ₹16.26 crore. The net profit margin was 16.38%, against 15.54% a year earlier.

Against the quarter ended 30 Jun 2026, total income rose 41.6% from ₹470.79 crore, and net profit rose 200.9% from ₹36.30 crore.

The company has one reportable business segment, Agro Chemicals. Demand for its products depends on monsoon, pest infestation and crop patterns, and results may vary from one period to another, according to the results.

Inference

In the six months ended 30 Sep 2026 the company bought back 5,00,000 fully paid up equity shares, 1.11% of its issued and paid up equity share capital, at ₹1,400 a share, aggregating ₹70.00 crore. The shares were extinguished on 20 Jun 2026, according to the results.

The consolidated results include Dhanuka Agritech Europe Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary incorporated in Ireland on 26 Aug 2026. Its subscription amount was unpaid at 30 Sep 2026 and is proposed to be remitted under FEMA rules; the auditors say its results are not material to the group.

Trade receivables on the standalone balance sheet were ₹691.93 crore at 30 Sep 2026, against ₹440.62 crore at 31 Mar 2026. The reason for the rise is not stated.
