Federal-Mogul Goetze (India) Limited has told the exchanges that its board, at a meeting on 9 Oct 2026 that ran from 4:30 PM to 4:52 PM, approved a proposal for capacity addition at Bahadurgarh–Patiala in Punjab, Yelahanka in Bengaluru and Bhiwadi in Rajasthan. The investment required is 3,351 million, about ₹335 crore, to be met from internal accruals, and the capacity is to be added within 18 months.
The additions include 8.15 million cast iron rings, 5.04 million steel ring PVD sets, 3.96 million pistons, 6 million valve guides and 6 million valve seats, plus a new engine valve line of 3.24 million. The company gives growth in demand and an improving manufacturing footprint in India as the rationale.
Inference
Funding is entirely from internal accruals, so the plan does not depend on new borrowing. The new capacity comes in roughly 18 months, so its effect on output would not be seen soon.
