Standalone revenue from operations rose 9.2% to ₹116.94 crore, which more than offset a 34.0% fall in other income. Net profit fell 5.2% to ₹13.95 crore, a smaller decline than the 9.7% fall in profit before tax.

No exceptional items were reported in the quarter or in the year-ago quarter. The year-ago quarter had a ₹5.06 crore reversal of inventory provision, which the notes say was nil in the current quarter. Dividends paid in the half year were ₹10.76 crore, against ₹7.29 crore a year earlier.

Consolidated net profit of ₹9.44 crore is ₹4.51 crore below standalone net profit of ₹13.95 crore. The notes say the Environment Division was transferred to the wholly owned subsidiary Fermenta Environment Solutions Private Limited on a slump sale basis from 1 Oct 2025 for ₹19.00 crore, and that the subsidiary issued 7,17,949 shares at ₹12 each.

    Inference

The auditor, SRBC & Co LLP, issued an unmodified review opinion on both sets of results dated 5 Nov 2026. The auditor's review also covers three subsidiaries with a combined net loss after tax of ₹(271.36) lakh for the quarter.

Standalone dividends paid in the half year were ₹10.76 crore. The filing does not say whether a dividend for the current financial year has been declared or recommended, and does not give the reason for the fall in consolidated profit attributable to owners.
