Net profit grew faster than total income this quarter: profit rose 28.3% year on year against 24.6% for total income, and profit before tax rose 17.6%.

Revenue from operations rose 25.5% to ₹4,040.42 crore, while other income fell 65.7% to ₹10.97 crore. Other income is 0.3% of total income and 1.0% of profit before tax, so the quarter's income rests almost entirely on interest and related operating revenue.

Finance costs of ₹2,856.58 crore are 70.5% of total income, up 33.1% from ₹2,146.94 crore a year earlier. Finance costs rose faster than total income in the year, and the filing does not give a reason for the rise.

The consolidated figures match the standalone figures line by line. The consolidated results include associate Shristi Urban Infrastructure Development Limited, whose share of loss the filing rounds to zero crore.
