Fee revenue grew faster than profit, and other income fell. Revenue from operations rose 16.3% to ₹1,673.79 crore and net profit 6.1% to ₹888.96 crore, while profit before tax rose 9.6% to ₹1,197.70 crore and tax took 25.8% of it against 23.3% (derived). Other income fell to ₹16.91 crore from ₹71.86 crore a year ago and ₹180.80 crore in June, so total income grew 11.9%, less than revenue from operations.

Costs grew more slowly than revenue overall but not for distribution. Fees and commission expense rose 30.3% to ₹132.85 crore and employee benefits expense 14.3% to ₹212.77 crore. Against June revenue rose 7.0% and profit fell 7.8% from ₹964.63 crore, the June quarter having carried more other income. For H1 FY27 revenue from operations is ₹3,238.01 crore against ₹2,769.73 crore and profit ₹1,853.59 crore against ₹1,621.61 crore.

Per-share figures are affected by the share count: the paid-up equity capital is ₹49.43 crore against ₹17.65 crore a year earlier, and earnings per share were ₹17.99 against ₹16.95; the statement and the year-earlier figures are restated for the acquired business of ICICI Venture. The June-quarter column of the table covers only the lines the filing text carried. The board declared an interim dividend of ₹30 a share, after a final dividend of ₹12.4 a share paid in the period, and the filing refers to a proposed acquisition of the portfolio management services business of ICICI Securities on a slump sale basis.

Inference

ICICI Prudential AMC's fee revenue grew 16% but profit grew 6%, because commission expense grew faster, other income fell and the tax share rose.

The proposed purchase of a portfolio management business and the larger share count both change later per-share figures, and the filing does not quantify either.
