The standalone other income line carries a fair value adjustment on investments. The filing says other expenses in the quarter include a FVTPL adjustment on investments of ₹2.18 crore, compared with ₹25.29 crore of income recognised as other income in the quarter ended 30 Jun 2026. For the half year, the FVTPL adjustment in other income was ₹23.12 crore, against ₹7.84 crore a year earlier.

Standalone tax expense of ₹10.45 crore is 26.1% of profit before tax of ₹39.98 crore, against 28.8% a year earlier on the same basis, when tax was ₹7.70 crore on profit before tax of ₹26.74 crore.

    Inference

The auditors carried out a limited review of both the standalone and consolidated statements and expressed an unmodified conclusion. For the consolidated statement, the auditor notes that the interim information of two subsidiaries was reviewed by another auditor or furnished by management.

On 28 Oct 2026 the company reported the demise of Abhilasha Chandrashekhar Hattangdi, a non-executive independent director. The results filing does not state a dividend for the quarter, and it does not give a reason for the change in other income from the previous quarter.
