Net profit grew much faster than income. Standalone total income rose 38.6% year on year to ₹413.41 crore, while net profit rose 121.9% to ₹37.98 crore. Profit before tax rose 114.8%, and tax expense rose 94.9% to ₹11.95 crore, so the tax charge grew more slowly than profit.

Against the previous quarter, nearly every line fell: total income dropped 5.0%, profit before tax dropped 40.3% and net profit dropped 37.8%. Depreciation was the exception, rising 5.5% from ₹6.61 crore to ₹6.97 crore. The filing does not give a reason for the fall from the June quarter.

Other income is a small part of the result. At ₹0.84 crore it is 0.2% of total income and 1.7% of profit before tax of ₹49.92 crore, so the profit is almost entirely from operations. Finance costs of ₹1.71 crore are 0.4% of total income, down from ₹2.14 crore a year earlier.

Tax expense of ₹11.95 crore is 23.9% of profit before tax this quarter, against ₹6.13 crore on ₹23.24 crore a year earlier. The net profit margin was 9.19%, up from 5.74% a year earlier and down from 14.02% in the June quarter.

The company completed its Initial Public Offer in the quarter, with shares listed on NSE and BSE on 16 Sep 2026 at an issue price of ₹676 per share, aggregating to ₹500 crore. The offer for sale was ₹420 crore and the fresh issue ₹80 crore. IPO expenses of ₹2.93 crore, net of the selling shareholders' share, were adjusted against the securities premium account.

The statutory auditor, CNK & Associates LLP, issued an unmodified limited review report. The prior-year quarter was approved by the board but has not been subject to limited review or audit. The company reports one segment, Specialty Chemicals, and gives no separate segment figures.

    Inference

The filing shows a final dividend paid of ₹6.96 crore in the half year ended 30 Sep 2026, against ₹1.74 crore a year earlier. The filing does not give the dividend declared for the current period or its record date.

The filing does not say how the IPO proceeds will be used. The filing also does not give a reason for the change in revenue or finance costs.
