SG Finserve Limited has told the exchanges that its board, at a meeting on 16 Oct 2026, approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated results for the quarter and half year ended 30 Sep 2026, with the limited review report of its statutory auditors. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations for the September quarter rose 115% to ₹160.94 crore from ₹74.67 crore a year earlier, and profit for the period rose 107% to ₹58.80 crore from ₹28.40 crore.

Revenue from operations was 18% above the ₹136.11 crore of the June 2026 quarter, and profit was 10% above the ₹53.68 crore of that quarter. Impairment on financial instruments was ₹68.22 crore, against ₹30.33 crore a year earlier. Basic earnings per share were ₹8.97, against ₹5.08 a year earlier.

The consolidated statement covers the parent and two wholly owned subsidiaries, SG Insurance Brokers Limited from 19 Jun 2026 and SG Alternative Investment Fund Limited from 16 Jul 2026. Consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter was ₹160.94 crore, the same as standalone, and consolidated profit was ₹58.53 crore, with basic earnings per share of ₹8.93.

For the half year, standalone revenue from operations was ₹297.05 crore against ₹142.16 crore a year earlier, and profit was ₹112.48 crore against ₹52.92 crore. The same board meeting approved stock acquisitions and an investment plan, covered in a separate article.

    Inference

Both revenue and profit were more than twice their year-earlier levels on a standalone basis, while impairment on financial instruments also rose by a similar multiple. For a lender, impairment is the amount set aside for loans that may not be repaid in full.

The consolidated statement has no year-earlier comparison in the filing, because the subsidiaries were added during 2026. The standalone columns are therefore the like-for-like comparison.
