Consolidated net profit grew faster than income over the year. Net profit rose 34.8% to ₹58.33 crore while total income rose 17.4%, and profit before tax rose 34.7% to ₹78.20 crore.

Revenue from operations rose 16.9% YoY, slower than other income, which rose 39.8% to ₹6.26 crore. Finance costs fell 43.6% to ₹0.54 crore, which is 0.2% of total income. Depreciation fell 21.2% from a year earlier, to ₹10.90 crore.

Against the previous quarter, profit fell. Net profit dropped 21.6% from ₹74.42 crore while total income rose 8.5%. The notes say the previous quarter included an exceptional item of ₹27.95 crore from the sale of a freehold land and building on 15 Jun 2026, so that quarter is not a like-for-like base. The filing does not give the tax rate's movement beyond the tax figures shown; tax expense was ₹19.88 crore, 25.4% of profit before tax.

    Inference

The filing says the Board approved raising the investment limit in SJS Display Electronics Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary, from ₹10 crore to ₹50 crore, and an inter-corporate loan of up to ₹50 crore to it. The filing does not say why the limit and loan were raised, or what business the subsidiary will carry out.

The filing also says the company acquired the 9.90% non-controlling stake in Walter Pack Automotive Products India Private Limited from Mr. Roy Mathew for ₹199.22 million, and allotted 6,750 equity shares under its ESOP 2021 scheme. The filing does not give a reason for the stake purchase. The auditors' review report carries no exception on either set of results. The results filing states no dividend.
