SKM Egg Products Export (India) reported consolidated total income of ₹190 crore and consolidated net profit of ₹18 crore for the quarter ended 30 Sep 2026, against ₹202 crore and ₹25 crore a year earlier. Standalone total income was ₹184 crore and standalone net profit ₹16 crore. The company said in a filing on 23 Oct 2026 that its board approved the results.

Net profit fell faster than income. Consolidated net profit dropped 28.3% YoY while total income fell 6.0%, and profit before tax moved in line with net profit at a 28.3% decline.

Other income is a small part of this quarter's result. In the previous quarter other income was ₹7.32 crore, which lifted that quarter's total income, so the sequential comparison is affected by that base. The filing does not explain the rise in the previous quarter or the negative figure in this one.

Finance costs of ₹2.65 crore and depreciation of ₹4.28 crore were broadly steady, and the tax charge of ₹5.95 crore was 25.1% of profit before tax. Net profit attributable to owners was ₹17.75 crore, marginally below net profit for the period, with the balance attributable to non-controlling interest.

Standalone net profit fell 33.3% YoY, more than the 10.8% fall in total income, and profit before tax fell 32.0%. Standalone revenue from operations of ₹184.15 crore was ₹22.06 crore below the year-ago quarter's ₹206.21 crore.

The standalone result is ₹2.00 crore below the consolidated net profit of ₹18.00 crore, a gap the filing does not explain. Standalone tax expense of ₹5.94 crore was 26.9% of profit before tax of ₹22.05 crore.

The standalone results show an exceptional items line with no amount. The consolidated results record a share of profit of associates of ₹2 lakh for the quarter.

Inference

The results show lower income and profit for the quarter against the year-ago period, with a per-share figure of ₹3.37 consolidated and ₹3.06 standalone. The filing does not give the reason for the negative other income or the gap between standalone and consolidated profit.

The board also approved a Scheme of Amalgamation of the wholly owned subsidiary SKM Universal Marketing Company (India) Private Limited into the listed company. The filing says no shares will be issued for it, so the listed company's shareholding does not change, and the approvals and timing are not stated.

The filing does not say whether any dividend has been declared for the current period. A dividend of ₹658.25 lakh was paid in the half year to 30 Sep 2026.
